Title/Position on Ballots Affect Brian’s Vote Totals Differently

Brian has big vote gains (2,639) in Ohio by positioned 1st on ballot with a clear “Socialist” Title;

Brian has Low vote totals in Florida (405) when placed 12th of 13 on ballot; and is Identified by three unfamiliar letters:  “SPF”

Brian has received 2,639 votes for presidnet in the state of Ohio, as of this date.  His name and party identification, the Socialist Party, were clearly spelled out; plus, he was number one on the ballot there.

On the otherhand, in his home state of Florida, Brian was placed in the twelth position out of 13 on the ballot, and there were only three letters after his name to spell out his party identification:  “SPF”  which voters are supposed to understand that he is a ”Socialist Party of Florida” candidate.  His Florida vote totals, despite being in a larger state, which is his home state, are a much lower 405.

Two years ago, Brian received close to 20,000 votes as an independent U.S. Senatorial candidate in the state of Florida.

Furthermore, Unlike Ohio, Moore had two SocialistParty competitors, with very recognizable labels: Gloria La Riva of the “Party for Socialism and Liberation” (labeled:  PSL); and Roger Calero of the Socialist Workers Party (labeled SWP).

Both of these lettered labels, PSL & SWP are like ACLU, IBM, or CBS when it comes to identification.  The Socialist Party in Florida should change its identification to SOC.

Brian is also on the ballot in 22 other states as a “write-in” candidate, so he is expecting to receive several thousand more votes by the end of the tabulation.   Presently, he has 6,383 nationwide; but expects to reach the 8,000 to 10,000 totals after all the write-ins are tabulation from 22 states where he is registered officially as a “write-in.”
