SOCIALIST TO APPEAR SATURDAY AM ON FOX NEWS TV’S NATIONAL BUSINESS PROGRAM RE. CAPITALISM DECLINE IN POLLS
TAMPA, FLORIDA, Friday, April 10, 2009: Socialist activist Brian Moore taped a 15-minute TV segment Friday afternoon in Tampa’s Fox studios, for FoxNews’ national television network’s “Cashin’ In” business program, involving a panel of four business experts and Moore.
The panel addressed a recent national Rasmussen Poll reporting a significant decline in America’s support and faith in capitalism from 70% six months ago, to 53% most recently. Mr. Rasmussen indicated that the drop was quite significant.
A New Rasmussen Poll Shows only 53% of Americans Prefer Capitalism over Socialism (Down from 70% last year)
Moore responded to the panel that the poll “should not be a green light for Washington to increase taxes and bailout spending as a solution to the failing economy.” Moore further stated that the poll “only confirms Americans recognition that the ‘free market’ system does not work, and that capitalism has failed by just rewarding the rich.”
The Socialist activist stated that President Bush’s tax cuts for the wealthy in 2001 “removed $3-$4 trillion from the U.S. Treasury;” plus he added that the $1 trillion bailouts and the Federal Reserve’s $6 trillion to over 300 unknown private companies “shows how capitalism is failing this country.”
The panel discussion is to be aired on FoxNews.com cable television station on Saturday, April 11th, at 11:30 AM EST and Monday, April 13th at 5:30 AM EST. The segment will also be posted several times on FoxNews’ business channel as well (consult your local listings for times).
Cashin’ In’s show host will be Terry Keenan, and its business panelists, in addition to Moore, will be Jonathan Hoenig, a Hedge Fund Manager of Capitalistpig.com, Wayne Rodgers, former actor from Mash TV show and business owner, Jonas Max Ferris, Fund Manager of Maxfunds.com and Tracy Byrnes, Anchor/Reporter of Fox Business network.
