Graham, Florida---Florida Coalition for Peace & Justice Peace Farm--Saturday, May 19th:  Our NatureCoast Coalition for Peace and Justice held another of its antiwar demonstrations at the Weeki Wachee intersection this morning, and the response from the public was overwhelmingly positive.

There were some negative responses, and a Marine Corps veteran put up a banner next to ours at the demonstration stating:  "God bless America---USMC!"  We had three new protestors join us (Rick Pederson, Layali Schuster and a Ms. Thomas; and five additonal members (Ginger Wield, Jerry Thackum, Jerry .  the weather was perfect also!

I then attended the Green Party Convention in Graham, Florida late this afternoon (north of Gainesville) and made a presentation on my experience running for the US Senate in 2006.  The Green Party and Ralph Nader endorsed my candidacy in the election and I thanked them.

The Green party memebers also urged me and Darcy Richardson, my campaign manager, to write a formal assessment of the campaign experience and to highlight how undemocratic the press and media treated my candidacy.  They urged us to address how corrupted our electoral system is.

I have an adult baseball game tomorrow at 12:30 PM in brooksville and will try out my left knee after arthoscopic surgery 5 weeks ago.
